A bit about fundraising
All money raised by the participants of the Oswestry Bunny Run go straight to local charities. So far we have raised over £3000, going towards the Oswestry Bone Cancer Centre and Hope House. This year the charity is The Movement Centre. Please see the link below for their website and full details of the difference they make to children's lives:
Hello! and welcome to the official site of the Oswestry Bunny Run.
Please feel free to have a look around all of our pages, but first let us tell you a bit about ourselves...
The Oswestry Bunny Run is a 5K fun run that raises money for local charities. On 3rd April 2016 Curtis Langley and James Manford started the first Oswestry Bunny Run. Their vision was to create a sporting event achievable by all and that would bring the local community together and their
purpose was to raise money for their chosen charities in their London Marathon campaign. They used the beautiful green spaces within Oswestry town centre and gained over 60 participants and raised over £840.
The event gained such popularity that they decided to make it an annual event. So, WE'RE BACK AGAIN!! and of course, we're going to be better!
"The run gains lots of support every year! Our Goodie Bags are sponsored by our local Sainsbury's store as well as prizes and other support. We also have a lot of support from the Oswestry Cambrian Rotary Club with their generous volunteers that give their Sunday up to help run the event each year. We have many other sponsors who can all be found on our Sponsors Page.
Adult entries are £10.50 and children under 12 are £5.50. All children must be accompanied by an adult. No admin fees or hidden charges apply. All money raised goes to local charities
The next Bunny Run is on Sunday
8th April 2018
